Commissions
Rawa’a offers custom, hand-painted portraits based on reference photos provided by the client or taken during an arranged session. Each piece is created with meticulous care using high-quality, archival materials to ensure durability and lasting beauty.
How It Works:
– Get in Touch:
Start by reaching out through the contact form to discuss the details of the commission.
– Photo Reference:
If located nearby, an appointment can be arranged to photograph the subject. Otherwise, clear, high-resolution photos are required. Feel free to send several images, as candid shots often bring out the most natural expressions.
– Photo Guidelines:
No combining of images or altering the position/expression of the subjects. The portrait will be based on the exact reference provided.
– Sketch Approval:
Unsure about the composition? A digital mock-up or sketch will be provided to help you visualize the final piece before work begins.
– Payment:
A 50% deposit is required once the design and materials are finalized, with the remaining balance due upon completion and prior to shipping.
– Process Updates:
Regular updates are shared throughout the creation process, so you can witness the progression of your portrait.
– Timeline:
Each artwork typically takes 2-3 weeks to complete, depending on the technique. Please note that urgent requests cannot be accommodated, as the drying process, especially with oil paints, requires sufficient time between layers.
